LEONARDO ANDRÉ is a Brazilian music composer, music teacher, writer, and poet. After composing his first song at the age of thirteen, he has participated in several musical festivals.
In 1989, he graduated in Artistic Education from The Marcelo Tupinambá College in São Paulo, specializing in Music, Performing Arts, and Geometric Design. During his years as an undergraduate, he circulated among several poetry groups and joined the Santo Amaro Poets Association.
At the 1990 Biennial Book Fair, held in Ibirapuera, São Paulo, he launched five self-published books: three children's books and two books of poetry, Versos que Canto (Verses that Sing) and Versos de Amor, Desejos, Saudade e Solidão (Verses of Love, Desires, Longing and Solitude).
He lives and teaches music in Vila Campo Grande, city of São Paulo.
